during winter storms. San Diego residents can feel very cold on days when people from other parts of the country think it's warm. Please don't laugh at us, we can't help it! The day after it rains, the skies are sometimes exceptionally clear and a photographer's delight! |

What to Bring on a San Diego Vacation

Casual clothing is fine except in the very nicest restaurants.

In winter, bring an umbrella and light rain coat. Don't be worried if you forget them, though. Every time it rains, all the shops bring the out for sale.
